LIMITED WARRANTY

SteelROCK Roof Products (hereafter “SteelRock”) proudly warrants to the original consumer purchaser

(hereafter “Purchaser”) of our stone-coated steel roofing panel (hereafter “Panel”), that our Panel will

remain WEATHERPROOF, WILL NOT BURN, WILL WITHSTAND PENETRATING OF HAILSTONES under 2

½ inches in diameter, WILL WITHSTAND WIND SPEEDS up to 120 m.p.h., as well as WARRANT THE

SURFACE COATING OF THE PANEL from manufacturing defects, as long as the Purchaser owns their

property as set forth herein in the registration information (hereafter “Property”) .

Will not allow the passage of water due to deterioration of the

Panel.

The steel substraight of the Panel will not burn.

Will not allow the penetration by hailstones under 2 ½ inches

in diameter rendering the panel non-weatherproof.

Will remain intact up to 120 m.p.h. wind speeds or less taking

into account that the roof has been installed in compliance

with SteelROCK approved installation details.

SteelROCK warrants the surface coating of the Panel if it

deteriorates to the extent that the appearance of the Panel is

Adversely Affected (as defined hereafter “F”).

Clearly adversely visible from a street level distance, of thirty

(30) yards and greater, away from the Property.

G. Consumer Purchaser is an individual person who is the property owner

After taking all the circumstances into account, SteelROCK will then, at its discretion either repair the

Panel, provide a replacement Panel, or refund SteelROCK’s original selling price of the Panel, or apply

SteelROCK surface coating or similar surface coating to the Panel, provided that the liability of

SteelROCK, with respect any claim, shall be limited to a total expenditure not to exceed SteelROCK’s

original selling price of the Panel.

A written notice of change of ownership of the said Property in which the SteelROCK Panel was

installed must be sent by the subsequent owner (hereafter “Subsequent Owner), within thirty (30)

days from change of ownership, by registered mail return receipt to SteelROCK at its address set

forth below. At the time the warranty is transferred; or should the SteelROCK Panel be originally

sold to a party which is not defined as a Consumer Purchaser (hereafter “NON Consumer

Purchaser”), the SteelROCK Panel for the Subsequent Owner or Non Consumer Purchaser will

become valid for fifty (50) years from the date of the original installation for all definitions of

statements referenced as Workmanship and twenty five (25) years from date of the original

installation for all definitions of statements referenced as Appearance.

installed; (2) abusive foot traffic resulting from a variance in the manufacturer’s instructions; (3)

damage to the Panel caused by any application of cleaning solutions, paints, coatings, or modifications

of any kind; (4) damage to the Panel by misuse, neglect, or improper handling during or after

installation; (5) damage caused by failure to follow SteelROCK installation instructions (6) failure to

utilize fasteners identified on the installation instructions. Whether a SteelROCK Panel is leak proof or

not depends almost entirely on how the Panel is installed and secured to the roof; therefore, no

warranty is made by SteelROCK as to whether roofs containing the Panel covered by this warranty will

prove to be leak proof. A separate warranty covering the installation of Panel may be made available

by the installation contractor.
